DESIGNPLUS CHRISTMAS NETWORKING
Wednesday 14th December 2005
Stanley Picker Gallery
Designplus was delighted to be able to invite it’s members to join us for a drink, nibbles… and some festive networking to celebrate our first successful year of activities.
Those in attendance were also able to enjoy a private viewing of the Stanley Picker Gallery’s latest exhibition “Complex Embrace”. This was a new work of animation by Damian Gascoigne, created in collaboration with Jeffrey Johnson (Open University) and Anne Creigh-Tyte (Kingston University). It explores how complexity inspires the design process.
Our Christmas networking event was supported by The Spiral Group – a cost management company set up for small businesses. Company representatives were on hand to explain the new, free service available to Designplus members which has been created to provide access to major cost savings on a range of common design business purchase items including printing, stationery and IT consumables.
