How many of us have the time to think about our approach to innovation? Whilst we are focusing on delivering business as usual, our competitors may be developing new ideas to attract our customers and damage our bottom line.

Whether you work for a leading international business, or a small enterprise, innovation is the key to survival.

In the past, innovation was about the development of new products or services. Today, it is about much more than that. It is about looking at your brand and business in a new light, selecting the right ideas and bringing them to market as quickly as possible.

This three hour, highly interactive workshop, gave a taste of the new Brand Strategy and Innovation trio programmes, and listened to your views on the challenges facing businesses in Park Royal.

This session covered:
•    Brand Innovation
•    Innovation strategy
•    Research and Development strategy

The morning was run by three experts in the field of Branding and Innovation.

Ray Holland, PhD MSc ACIS, directs courses in Design Strategy & Innovation and Design & Branding Strategy at Brunel University.

Chris Holt worked as Design Director for a number of international corporations including the P&O Group, Sea Containers and British Airways, before becoming an independent design consultant.

John Boult BSc (Hons) is a founding director of Product First, an Innovation Consultancy and an Associate Professor at Brunel University lecturing at Masters level on Innovation and Creative Enterprise.
