Designplus at Made In Brunel 2010: Tasty new visions for well loved brands
09/06/2010

Bite sized presentations bringing you a selection of ideas in a variety of new flavours - new concepts for eight leading brands presented and discussed by the next generation of designers and innovators and facilitated by Designplus.
A packed room joined us to hear about some of Brunel University’s most successful student design projects. The students explored future visions for eight high profile brands, resulting in stunning three dimensional models of innovative concept ideas tailored to selected brands and the opportunities emerging in the world around us.
We were joined by representatives from each of the brands, who were presented with a tailor-made, individual brand book detailing the development of strategy and ideas from each team.
The intuitive brand understanding we all have of these brands means the resulting concepts will resonate with us all, whatever our professional interests. This evemt was an opportunity to meet the creators and hear firsthand the future trends, factors and brand deconstruction that led to ideas which may well represent significant insights into future market opportunities.
The student teams presented and discussed their concepts based on exploration of the following brands:
- Crayola
- Armitage Shanks
- Playboy
- Land Rover
- Muller
- Kelloggs
- Cambridge Audio
- Bridgestone
