Partnerships:
Could your business benefit from a funded, dedicated student design project?

Are you interested in
- A final year design student working for free on a project of your choice for 7 months
- £1000 support for this partnership
- Support from dedicated, academic design staff?
What do we ask in return?
An amount of your time to brief and direct the student’s project, giving you the opportunity to shape this valuable design resource.
Every year, Brunel Design brings together students from its highly rated Product and Industrial Design courses with industry partners to work together on a huge range of Design products.
The students:
- are in their fourth and final year of their degree
- have just completed a year working in industry
- will be working with you on their ‘Final Project’ - the culmination of the knowledge and experience they have gained during their degree and their year in industry.
‘Roisin has approached the project in a manner more akin to that of an industry professional than an undergraduate student. The project has been delivered to time and cost and Lightweight Medical is a happy client.’ Neil Tierney, Director of R&D, Lightweight Medical Ltd
If you take up this opportunity, your business:
- will work with your student and their supervising tutor to create a design brief
- will gain a valuable design resource
- can for the first time access £1000 funding to support the partnership (available to companies with under 250 employees)
- will add valuable experience to a student’s design education.
