Light weight Medical: Daffodil Phototherapy Neonatal Jaundice Management System
Lightweight Medical's third project with Brunel and Designplus continued the themes of combining a strong evidence based medical need with new technology and innovative design. The result in this case was a more effective treatment system for premature babies with jaundice. Roisin Monnington, the design student, was also awarded the HSBC Innovation Award for this product.
