Remote Control Lighting: Architectural Lighting

Remote Control Lighting, who have had strong links with Brunel Design over a number of years, ran a project with 2nd year students for the first time in 2008. The project was judged a success by all involved and a significant development from earlier student projects involving lighting. We were very pleased that RCL were keen to build on this success and run the project for a second and third year.

RCL's support for the project is considerable. They are actively involved in discussions about the student brief, and have taken part in briefing lectures with the students which included inviting leading lighting designers to present their experience. Subsequently they have committed considerable resources to reviewing and giving feedback to the students on their initial concepts. = The organisers of the ARC Lighting exhibition also support the project by providing space at this major lighting trade show as a showcase for the project and the potential of young lighting designers.
